Front right heated O2 sensor

My engine light just came on and it's telling me I need a front right heated O2 sensor...What could go wrong if I don't change it ASAP? Is it major in any way?

My car just threw up an 0707 rear heated 02 sensor. I just we both need some answers. Have you reset your CEL?

Yeah, I reset it right after I got home and checked the code. I haven't driven it after though...I guess I'll see if it comes back on while I'm driving to work in the morning.

You can try cleaning it and see if the code comes back. I'm not sure what to use for cleaning, but my mechanic cleaned mine once, and the code never came back.

Use brake cleaner.
Also, find where the harnesses are under the hood.
Use an Ohmeter, test the outer pins, they should be between
2.3-4.3ohms. If not, get a Bosch O2 sensor. They're cheapest.

Definitely reset the ECU first. If it comes back then the worst you have to do is replace it. You should be more concerned about one of the two fronts going than the rear.

I changed mine last week. The front right sensor plugs into the rear right engine. Rear left if you are looking under the hood standing in front of the car.

Just follow the wire up from the sensor. I could see my sensor through the engine.
