Power Door Lock Problem

I'm having a major issue with my power door lock and keyless entry. if i go to open my doors from the driver door, and turn it once it will unlock the driver door if i turn it twice to the right it will not un lock all the doors, if i unlock the door and then open the door and THEN turn to the right once more it will unlock all the doors. my keyless entry system is programmed and it will not unlock the car when it has been sitting for 5 - 10 minutes after driving or the next day after driving it. the way i see it is if the car has just been turned off and i wait for the security light to start blinking and i wait another 5 minutes the power door lock is inactive on the driver side, and the keyless doesn't work (i haven't yet checked the passenger side) but if IRC the passenger side one doesn't work either. if i dont let it wait 5 minutes and do it in like 1 0r 2 minutes after the car has been shutoff and locked it works........ what the heII could this be?????

oh yah and when i sat in the car and let the alarm arm and wait 5 minutes it will not unlock or lock from the inside using the power door lock or the keyless

Have you tried unlocking all the doors from the passenger side, ie: turn key twice in passenger door, and see if it works. See if you're having the same problem on all doors, and that it's not just the driver's door.

one more question about the positon of the keyless entry brain: If i take out he felt and carpet, is it right there? of is it positioned in the fender, like the jack? Because i took out the carpet and the felt lining, and didn't see anything. But there's a couple of bolts on the inside of the fender, next to the jack, where it looks like something's mounted there.

it should be right there about 4 - 6 inches above and to the left when looking at the jack, if not, look for two harnesses behind that little bit of sheet metal....
