I just replaced my struts and noticed my shock boots were hanging in tatters so I replaced them... Do a search on struts and boots and that should turn up the right kyb boots for it. You can jack up your car and see how your boots are without even pulling the tires. If you go without strut boots, dirt could get on the shock rod and ruin the seals and you end up replacing the shocks again...

Also you should at least replace the front strut bearings and the mounts (front) and rubber isolators (front and rear) (the front one is inside a metal piece that sits inside the mount.). If those go bad, you end up pulling the struts and compressing the springs again to fix them. Use stock Nissan parts for those as many have had bad luck with these kyb parts.

I hate re-doing a job because I didn't replace something I should have...

Good luck,

Jim

You dont need no damn spring compressor, its fun watching stuff shoot across the room When I lowered my car I didnt have to buy anything other than the springs and struts and wire wrap so there is no noise! It works fine.
