i've been riding with the H&R/AGX combo for a coupla days now, it's not that bad ... of course every road is bad in NYC right now ...

but if you keep your stock struts the drop will only kill them faster, so you'll probably wanna invent in some aftermarket struts

I think that the stock struts are the best choice for comfort. However, they will wear out much quicker because they are not designed to be used with any drop. I have also heard that some aftermarket struts will be more comfortable because they are designed to work in that specific range of drop. I have had my H+R springs on for about 2 months now and I still have my stock struts. I love the way the car rides! Handles great and much more responsive. A little bouncy but hey, you are lowering your car after all.

If you use ANY aftermarket lowering springs, you will slowly but surely kill your stock struts. You must replace them at some point, or the ride will just get WORSE...

How many miles of normal driving can you expect to get out of a set of new stock struts?

I finally fixed my suspension problem and am now driving on H&R/AGX combo. It's as little firmer than the stock suspension, but I love the way the car handles. Remember, there will always be trade offs when you purchase aftermarket parts.

I am running 2 in the front 4 in the rear...

Conrad...what are your settings and how does it ride??? Mine feels a little bouncy at times...

same combo here
used to have Sprints , but after 6 months ride become unberable
now on H&R's and KYB AGX set at 4 front and 6 rear, after playing with settings came to the point that anthing less than those setting creates bouncy ride, simple way to explain - soft springs + soft settings on KYB = bouncy ride.
dial up those settings and H&R are very nice handling and drop wise

A hard spring with a soft dampening strut will make you bounce also and will not give the suspension proper control.
