What should my expectations be?

I am ordering a airflow midpipe and a budget y pipe.

hoping to get installed soon with the help of some forum buddies. But what should me realistic expectations be on improvment? I dont wanna set myself up to high and then be like.. oh.. thats it!? lol

here are my current specs.

1999 Max SE
auto (now dont start saying auto sucks cause I like it! lol)
generic pop charger
ebay FSTB
everything else stock.
Cali Emissions

I am probably ordering this stuff this friday maybe. Is it pretty easy to install the midpipe for the air intake? and what tools will i need.. along with the question.. is there a link to instructions.. that would be the easiest.. lol

thanks guy and gals!

a midpipe is a midpipe. there won't be any noticeable differences between the frankencar and the other brand.
