I put Raybestos QS pads on my car about 4 months ago, they were ok but in reverse when i stopped i had a bad squeel.
Now, when i drive forward all the damn time, it squeels horribly, its loud and it sounds almost like a pad is loose or something is grinding. onthe highway you cant reallly hear it im assuming its just too loud or the high pitch noise it too high.
Someone please help, im at work all night and got class in the morning so i guess im driving my crap like this for a while, unless you people can help me.

Did you change all 4 brakes? I had to get new back brakes because they were doing the same thing. They would squeak until I got up to a higher speed. If you changed all 4 I would check the caliper, you could have a caliper sticking. That could explain the brakes stopping squeaking at higher speeds because the caliper finally releases fully.

Have you tried jacking it up and rotating the wheels individually to see where the noise is coming from? It might be an anti-squeal shim that worked loose and is now contacting the rotor...
You need to have a look at it and not just drive around with it making that noise... It might be minor or it might be something that could cause you to lose control of your car. Its hard to tell what the noise is like when we can't hear it or look at the car...
Good luck,
Jim
