changing corner bulbs

i'm trying to change my corner bulbs, the one that next to the main headlight.
my question is after I took the screw off from the top of the housing, I try to pry it open like the manual says, but there is a socket like thing at the back, no matter how hard i pull it won't come off.
am i doing anything wrong or i have to keep pulling harder??

thers a ball in the back of the light thats snapped in a socket which you have to pop out of to remove the corner light. I was able to change the bulbs without removing the light because I didnt want to remove my eyelids. you have to take out the turn signals and its really hard to reach up and I got a few cuts to prove it.

No it isn't... I popped it out on my 95. Just pry and pry and pry some more then it should come out. Be careful not to break the light though.

shove a flathead in between the headlight and the parking lamp(preferably with some cloth on it to prevent damage) and then put shove the flat head on the other side and pry it out a bit more, and then with a firm and even grip on both sides - RIP it out, but make sure its even pressure, cause if its not, your going to break the mount on the back........again your going to have to put in ALOT of force into it

just get a flathead screwdriver inbetween the socket ball and where it's in and turn the screwdriver, the socket should pop out by itself

thats exactly how to do it..
if u try to pop it off using the nissan instructions or if u try to pry it off with the flathead screwdriver u'll end up damaging the corner light..

Spary some WD-40 on the socket and let it soak. That is how I was then able to use the flathead screwdriver to jiggle it out.
