Brake Shims- do they come with new pads?
Brake Shims- do they come with new pads?
I tried to figure this out at the parts store and they were clueless. I do not knwo what they look like, so I am not able to look in the box and determine if they are in there. So I am asking here:

The OEM from Nissan do not. You have to buy a brake hardware kit that includes shims, pad retaining clips etc.
The Raybestos Quiet stops that I bought came with shims and some antiseize
Get the parts store to open them up for you, or see if the Mfg has a separate part number
