bad courtesy nissan experience........

okay, so for all you people out there, i'm relating my experience with courtesy nissan. I've had good experiences, and this is the first bad one i've had, but i feel it necessary to let others know.

1. Ordered a FSTB for a 99SE-L. I recieved a FSTB for a 2000. The 2000 FSTB would not fit because the upper mounting nuts on a SE-L are acorn nuts and not regular nuts. So, returned 2000 FSTB to courtesy
2. When the 2000 FSTB was returned, they sent me a FSTB for a 99. The only problem was that the bar came with 2 right (passenger side) brackets, and no left bracket. Called up courtesy, told them i had no left bracket, and they said they'd send a new one.
3. Recieved left bracket, however it was a left bracket from a 2000 FSTB, the same bracket that caused all the problems in the first place. Called up courtesy, told them about this mistake, and they said they'd send the right bracket this time.
4. Recieved the new bracket. It was a right side bracket from a 2000 FSTB. In a different color as well, so even if i was gonna keep it, i'd have a mismatched bar (yes, it matters).

So basically, i now have a mismatched 2000 FSTB, with 2 right brackets for a 99 FSTB. I called up courtest and i'm returning the whole thing. I'm tied of waiting for the wrong part to come, and i'm tired of waiting to put this damn thing on. I'll just order one of of Ebay for less, and have it right the first time.

Sorry dude..that's rediculous that you'd have to go through all that. Yeah just pick one up off ebay and get it right the first time.

definitely, anytime i've dealt with them in the past, i've had nothing but good service. This post wasn't meant to **** on courtesy, it was just my experience, and to let people know that stuff can happen, even with the most recommended of dealers. I'll still deal with them again. Hell, they're a trillion times better than my local dealership. It's sad that even with shipping costs, a dealership in another state is better than one 15 minutes away.

I have had a bad experience with them too...I thibk even worse than the FSTB fiasco. I ordered a bunch of parts that I wanted to change in process of replacing my clutch. I ordered the two axle to tranny seals and the guy sends me two driver side seals. They look exactly the same but the pass side has a slightly smaller inner dia. I put everything back together only to find the damn thing leaking tranny fluid like crazy. I also ordered 6 new exhaust nuts, 4 were ok, 2 were wrong..i mean come on! I also ordered a rear main seal. They sent me just the seal without the retainer...which is not supposed to be the way its sold so it must be for a different year...anyway thats my story. Can't beat the prices though...

hopefully they'll pay for the shipping of the item atleast. ebay bars are exactly the same as the courtessy ones. (compared mine with rba's and the only difference is that his connectors were red...i think they changed the colors to blue now though)

i checked their site, and as far as suspension products, the only thing they have for maximas are struts and springs. Plus, i tried to do a price comparison on intakes, just to see if these guys are any cheaper, and they want $272 for the same intake that sells almost everywhere else for $230.
