GC Coilovers

I currently have a Tokico/Intrax setup, but I still want to go lower. My question is, can I keep my Tokico struts and just replace my springs with Ground Control coilovers? I have been told that Tokicos do not perform well with a harsh drop, and I plan on taking the GCs to 2.5".

The project maxima from www.evolution-autodesign.com has a tokico/GC setup and I'm assuming everything has gone OK with their car, but I want to hear from someone with experience with the combo. Any help would be appreciated.

Actually drop a line to Shadow or Jeff and he'll tell you that the combo is very bad. He'll tell you how bad it rides and how he is prolly gonna get legit coilovers.

the ride is bad due to the struts? or are Ground Control's coilovers made poorly?

I havent heard any bad things about the GCs from the people that i know who have them. They are running agxs with them or maybe illuminas.

Probably not. I would either go with konis, agxs, or illuminas.

depends on what spring rate gc's first of all... you can get a combo that is atbest-ok , but i know with 3xx pound springs and agx's, nothing but complaints here. i dont hear very good things for them, true coilovers are of course better if you can afford, duh.
