VERY weird right pull pleeeze help..
VERY weird right pull pleeeze help..
I have a real big issue with my max. Try to follow me.. If I make a right hand turn and then straiten out she'll pull to the right. If I take a left she'll go left then drive strait. And if I turn right the quickly turn the wheel 1/2 turn left she'll drive strait. Have checked myself and had a shop check ball joints, inner and outer tie rods, and the ?rack? All of those seem fine. Anyone also have these problems? Just very strange. I also have had the car aligned and that didn't help at all. I've also rotated the tires in case it was a tire pull. Here's my other problem. I read in another post about 96's having fuel problems anyone care to share their known problems because my car to on occasion will be just driving along and will stall but only for like 1/4 of a sec and then go again. Sometimes it'll keep doing it untill it finally just dies. It doesn't seem to have any particular time it does it or uinder any certain circumstances just at random.
Let mom borrow the car for a few weeks and this is what I get back yuk....

yeah i have the same problem with a pull to the right on my 95...all the joints/suspension have been checked, and the tires and rims are all new and balanced/aligned. very irritating!

Go to a front end shop that knows what their doing.
Have them drive the car while your in it to feel the pull/problem your having. Then let them figure out whats causing it.
Front end pulls or tracking problems can be caused by something in the rear thats loose too. Thats why a four wheel thrust angle alignment must be done on all FWD cars regardless of wheather the rear is adjustable or not. It will reveal problems in the rear end such as loose or bent components.
