how 2 adjust idle. like this???
1. make sure the engine is at normal operating temp
2. with car off, disconnect TPS
3. start car and rev a few times. Let the car idle.
4. adjust IACV black plastic screw to fine tune rpms. Alternatively, if rpms are way off, use the throttle plate screw first and then the IACV black screw.
5. Turn car off and reconnect TPS
whats a good idle? 750rpms casue i got place racing mounts and car shakes
alot. now its at 600rpms

Your idle speed adjustment procedure is correct.
Your racing mounts are transmitting more engine vibrations into the cabin of the car.
750 RPM 's may smooth things out just a bit, but your always going to feel more engine vibrations with stiffer engine mounts.

not only will the idle screw inside the engine bay affect your idle speed, but also will the ECU reset screw. make sure it is completely turned against the stop. if not, this can raise the idle speed. someone has a writeup link on here of how to adjust the ECU reset screw...its very simple.

YOur a 5 speed so it really wount hurt anything. That is border line hight thou.. If you can bring it down just to 750-800 the car might get better gas mileage.
yeah I think the cold does affect the idle on the max, mine idles about 1100 when cold but once it warms up it's down to 850 900. But I got a automatic so it may make a difference.
BTW: how do you rev the engine with the TPS dissconnected, or am I reading this wrong? In my experience with other cars it's been found that without the tps connected it don't rev worth a crap.
