I am installing my alarm and looking for a good main siren location in the engine bay... Where do you all have yours?

One siren is located right in the front left of the engine bay, right beside the rad kinda. Its right in the open. Why do you ask do I have it in the open? Because the thieves will take a little time to either cut that wire or remove power. Then they have to deal with 2 more self powered sirens embeded deep in the engine bay and then 2 more self powered babies within the car then even 1 in the trunk.

Its set up so when alarm goes off the main siren goes off, then if power is cut the others go off and can keep going for like 7 hours.

The ones inside the car always go off. When they are going its almost impossible to work inside the car..too hard on the ears.

i have mine right on the passenger side firewall. actually that is were Most Installers will put it if you have someone install it for you. Its out of the way from anything major.

- engine bay, driver side in front of the wheel well next to the battery

- in the dash

- hidden in the trunk

all are self powered and independent.
