ok, i did some looking on autotrader. I found what im looking for but not close to me. DO you think I should look at these cars or wait till the summer to buy it. Also, since there so far away, I cna't really have my mechanic inspect them so how will I know if there are any problems that I will run into down the road?

Here is what I found:

Heres one available in my area, If you wanted I could maybey find a mechanic, and go look at it. If not this one maybey you could find an .org member to go look at one in thier area. I don't think shipping is THAT expensive if its the right car. I think this on could be had for $9-$9.5 and is a Florida car means no, salted winter roads and harsh weather. Hey just a thought.

yo those are some low mileage 4th gens.

all i got to say is BE CAREFUL.
just because it has low mileage doesnt make it a good car. for example when i was shopping for my 4th gen i came across a 5spd at a dealer with 20 something thousand miles, they were asking like 18k for it. It was a piece. The guy tried to say it was in great condition. Trust me I drove it and it was falling apart...dont ask me how but somebody beat the living **** out of that car.

I found my car with 80k miles and I got it for $9750 on January 4, 2002. Driven by a mom. Not only do I see that as a good deal but my car is in 10 times better conditon than that piece I drove.
Actually I just remembered the piece almost dissuaded me from buying a 4th gen. It was the first one I drove and it was such a bad experience I almost thought they were all going to be like that.

I would have to research that but I would guess no more that a few hundred dollars. Tons of Florida cars are sold on ebay because of the conditon they can be found in so I guess it would have to be worth it.

Hi there,, mileage isn,t everything, I bought my 96 with 116k on it from the original owner who was 60 years old. He had all services done with all receipts, oil changes every 3k. I put in Mobil 1 and hyave driven it for 8k miles since then, no oil usage anis clean.

I recommend trying to find a car where ther are records you can see, hard to find sometimes but thats the way I only buy a used vehicle. With all the lease vehicles out there, alot of people dont do any maintenance at all knowing they are turning them back in...you have cars out there that have like no oil changes and can be beat with low miles on them....good luck to you.
