i saved up some money and now i think im ready to mod my max. by the end of the summer im looking to have it repainted (terrible repair job= bad, bad, bad black paint), sitting on sprints, with a budget y-pipe, an obx catback, and a new h/u+sub. all in all id say i can get everything done for about $1500.

anyway, im looking to get the sprints+h/u or the sprints+y-pipe first. or maybe just all three...who knows? the h/u is most urgent though since i cant play cd's w/my bose. what do you think i should do?

 

you'll probably blow your stock struts pretty quickly with sprints.

 

What im planning on doing this summer is things that will not break the bank.

I just got my 15 dollar ebay strut bar..Actaully a noticable difference when i turn.

1. Im doing show first...20% black tint all around $150

2. I would like to get a set of altezzas and crack them open to skyline them out. $150

3. Decal $25

4. Sprints $130
5. agx shock/structs ~280
6. I hope a type 2 spolier copy $200

2. I really want an apexi catback..damn backorders.

And im done modding..maybe a bodykit later but not till next year i dont want to pour to much money into the max, i rather save for a new car in a few years. Peace.

 

im def. gonna get struts...dont tell me about the ride though, i barely drive my car, being in school in the city and all.

If you look around "ebay" you can find a really light set of rims that will look nice on your car, btw what color and year is it?

i jus got a drop on 17's http://maxima.cardomain.com/id/gimpy835 ive got kyb agx shocks and intrax springs wiht a coil cutt off both the front springs so the *** wont sag (bought it all used for 400 here on the org , only 2 months old) ya should get a y pipe and maybe look into a mevi? i kno its not a beginner mod so please no1 coment, but its a good mod. ya should go ahead and at least get some 17's, they look the best on the max.strut bar would be a good thing to get too. go thru the 4sale pages here on the org, you can get some really good deals on some stuff!
