will a bad knock snesor cause the engine to stuble a little?

i have a bad knock sensor. first of all is there a way to test the sensor, second will a bad one cause the car to run rought at 1500-2000 rpm?

yes, if you mean hesitate, my 95 would hesitat in accleeration all the time, especially in low rpms. replaced it and everything went away
