Hello, I have a 98 SE. I've gotten a couple of codes of my ECU- one was 0215- EVAP control pressure valve closed vent. The next was
74-EVAP pressure control sensor. I was wondering how much a fuel evaporative emission control system costs or how I could remove the one I have and clean it. Sometimes, the car hesitates to start and I have to give it some gas to get it started. I'm at a loss because I don't know where the sensor is, or how solve the problem without going to the dealer. If anyone has experienced the same issues, or knows what my next steps should be, please email me.

 

the evap sensor is located below the gas lip...u need to take it apart...clean it and use wd40 to grease it up...put it back together and reset cel...if this doesn't work u might need to take to dealer to have look at...i had this problem on my car and this is what i did to fix my...hope this helps
