What size tirs would you recomend?

I just bought some rims. They are 17x7's. I need to get tires. I want to know what looks good. I want to lower it maybe 1.5 inches. I have been looking at 225/50/17. What size tirs would you recomend?

Here.

225/45/17 tires are best. 235/45/17 if u are riskAY.

use that. stock tire size on a GXE/GLE is 205/65/15
stock tire size on an SE is 215/55/16
