injen cold air intake?

i just installed an injen cold air intake on a friend's 2003 accord v6 coupe and damn does that thing haul *** for an auto. the thing that struck me about the car was that even with the intake, the car is so quiet and smooth...i have the frankencar midpipe and stillen popcharger combo and damn is my car loud as hell even when its just idling. do you guys with the injen notice a loud whistling noise at idle also? and the annoying whistle under light throttle? i love the sound of my intake at WOT but i would rather have an intake thats pretty much silent unless i go WOT. thanks.

oh and i raced my friend's 96 integra gs-r with i/h/e tonight from 0-80 and he pulled about half a car on me. not bad for an auto with just an intake...i'm gonna race him after i get my budget ypipe installed next week and we'll see how much of a difference it makes.

Yeah! I have the injen CAI, and there is a little high pitched whistle sound but I can't hear it under idle. I would change over to injen, but then there are those that say otherwise.

It's up to you.

I installed my injen last week, and so far no problems or complaints. there's the whistling at idle, but i don't mind that at all. compared to the jwt/frankencar (which i had before the injen), its a lot smoother and responsive now.

complaints?

Do you have any complaints about the JWT/frankencar setup? I'm going to be putting this combo on my car in the next week or 2 when I get the parts. Right now it is all stock. So I'll go from stock to JWT pop-charger combined with a BOMZ cold air intake mid-pipe section (none of the rest of the CAI parts). I have a 5sp. whats better about the full CAI vs. the mid-pipe setup? I dont have access to the rest of the CAI so it's not an option.

Where can I get this intake the cheapest? I dont mind spending money, but if I could save some then that would be better. Thanks in advance.
