For people with painted altezzas and a white car: read pelase!

I have the altezza carbon fiber tail lights on my car, and I've gotten tired of looking at them. I wanted to paint my tail lights the color of my car, but I had one big concern. My car is the pearl white color, which is somewhat different than just white. Since I would have to take the lights to a shop to have them paint them pearl white, I was thinking of just doing them regular white. My question is, would just painting them white look bad on a pearl white car? I dont want to ruin them and have to put my stock lights back on, so someone please tell me what you think. Thanks.

I just painted mine last weekend, but my car is blue, paint is off pretty bad, there is a definate contrast. I wouldnt recomend doing it. I regret it and am currently looking for some new tail lights, i will probably just buy a 97 trunk and bumper since my car could use some paint. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah, I looked at your homepage, and with the color blue you have, I can understand how it would offset the lights a little bit. Although, I painted my stock 95 grille white, and it blends perfectly with the pearl white car. I was suprised. Thanks for the advice.

Buy paint from paintscratch.com they match the paint of your car. It's more expensive than regular spray paint but probably cheaper then having a shop do it. The paint looks perfectly fine.

I have a pearl white max and I painted the gen I altezzas on the inside. I think it looks much better than painting them on the outside. I had a shop make the paint for me but I would probably get it from paintscratch cause its cheaper. I went through two cans though. Actually five cans because I had two base, two midcoat and one clear. Yeah! Looks really tight. Email me if you want to see pics...

I agree. i feel sorry for anyone who has gold lettering on there max. I would never consider buying a car with that sh*t. Screw the altezza cr*p and buy some wheels. and please, nothing gold.

I find it funny that you criticize my car. What do you have? a black maxima with cut coils and "bling bling" hubcaps?

I also think that just for you, Im going to get 150 spoke gold 13's with some fat tires.
