pics of new Budget ypipe.......

My Budget ypipe came in today. It took 3 days to get here and I paid $160 shipped. Here are some pics I took:

This looks like a very good product and the quality is very good. All welding looks professionally done and it comes with the gasket for the ypipe-cat, and the 2 O-rings for the headers-ypipe.

Wow it looks better unpainted. I wonder why they paint some of them black if the paint just burns off anyway?

Im pretty sure they paint them silver now, at least when i got mine about 3 weeks ago i could tell there was some paint left on the flanges... but it is a good quality pipe..... in my book... best mod ive done yet....

The new silver paint on them is strange....almost like its needs to be heated up before it totally cures. It left silver on my hands when I installed it. I can't relay how pleased I am with my y-pipe...it is excellent in the performance department, and even more excellent in the sound department when combined with an intake kit.

HOw did you get the bolts off that go from the pipe to the cat? They are extremely rusted on my car. HOw about the other bolts to the headers, are they rusted too?

Thanks for the replys. I can't wait to put it on!

The bolts on the car are a P.I.T.A. id sy cut them off... now about the header bolts, well a big breaker bar and some liquid wrench should do the trick. And as NastyNissan was saying, i agree that the performance is awesome and so is the sound with the intake. My 2001 max muffler adds a nice throaty rumble to it also.

O its silver paint. Well i like it better than the black. I think it makes the pipe look higher quality.

Nice, flex section looks very good and is much bigger and Stillens and Cattmans. Shaved rear looks good.

I just used some extensions, universal joint, standard socket wrench, PB blaster, and my knee to hold the center of the wrench in place while I pulled until veins started popping out of my neck.
