subframe braces

Hello everyone:

I talked to the guy named Dallas at 'Warpspeed' about the subframe braces. He mentioned I might find some people on the ORG on the west coast area that could recommend a good shop for installation.

I would consider anything within an 8 hour drive from San Jose.
I have been told that a good muffler shop should be able to do the work. Most techs at muffler shops are used to welding mufflers. I just have this nagging feeling that if I take some subframe braces to any kind of exhaust shop like that, they won't take me seriously.

I would guess I would have some good luck at a "speed shop" that specialized in exhausts. Would any of you in the CA area be able to give me some contact info for shops that have worked on Maximas or any other kind of car? I know this sort of work is frequently done by the 80's generation Mustang/Camaro crowd.

For those of you that have installed them, did any of you notice any change in overall road noise? Naturally the frame tightenting effect of the braces should make bumps less "audible". Is the same true for overall noise when cruising down the road?
