So i checked my check engine light and got the code 0103, it is the engine coolant tempeture sensor, now would this have anything to do with my tranny shiffting hard, also is this a big deal do i need to get it fixed right away.

I dont think a hard shifting transmission would cause your Engine Coolant Sensor to trip the ECU.... I would think that the sensor is going bad or your engine is running a little hot..... Im not sure though..... Hopefully someone who knows alot more than I do will be able to help out.... (Im nowhere close to being an expert with cars) lol
