copper ngk plugs

I went to Pepboys to buy the copper plugs for my car and I did not notice that they only gave me four. (Yes, sometimes I forget how to count). Anyway I went back for the other two and they tell me that the only one listed is the platinum and that they dont know how I bought those copper ones from them.

Can anyone tell me what is the part number of the NGK copper plugs for the Maxima. I've looked in the FAQ's and the basic car questions threads with no luck. Any help will be gratly appreciated.

By the way I found this while looking for the part number:
http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/apps/de...000&country=US

It says this about the 4th gen:

1997 NISSAN Maxima SE 3.0 V6 VQ30DE MFI

Spark Plug Part No. Stock No. Plug Gap Photo
Platinum PFR5G-11 # * 2647 # * .044

# Original Equipment * Laser Platinum Plug

Oxygen Sensor Part No. Location Photo
Oxygen Sensor 24186 Front of Converter n/a

Looks like those Laser platinum plugs I once heard of (I think in Ebay) is just the same oem plugs.

If an auto parts store ever gives you a hard time, just tell them you need spark plugs for a 95 mazda mx3 v6 and ngk coppers should show up on their system which is the same part# then u dont have to waste time debating about using plats vs. coppers in your max. I swear I went through that so many times... They also couldnt locate the plugs by the # BKR5E-11 cause they use only the stock #s in their system.

I don't bother explaining why I want them either. I ask for plugs for a 97 Altima. Every once and a while I get a guy that seems to be a little smarter, and I'll go into detail, but if they seem at all confused (as most people working in auto parts stores don't feel the need to think while working), just say you want them for the Altima.

Will BKR6E-11 work too?

I asked for BKR5E-11 and the parts guys said that is not the normal range. He suggested I take the BKR6E-11 instead. I told him I would come back.

Those are cold plugs. They'll work, but you may loose performance. Boosted/Juiced guys use 'em to prevent detonation.
