cost of 5-speed manual trans
my name is rob and im from Melbourne, Australia and i have a question wityh regards to how much it costs in America for a 5 speed manual transmission for a 1995 Nissan Maxima - it is unfortunate that in the whole of Australia there is ONLY one manual maxima. I'm trying to second it as maxima's here are not modified AT ALL and brought to there full potential as i've seen many members here have.
If anyone knows of a contact in japan that does export such parts let me know. thanks
your reply to this would be gratefully appreciated as im wanting to
import one here to be fitted to mine.

Nah, theres actually around 200 5/Spd Maximas in Australia, all built in '95/96. Mostly 30J's, some 30G's.
If you check carsales.com.au theres an original burgandy '96 SMX for sale in Melbourne (I think) right now. Jump on it.
