Stillen Lip cracked & chunk of it is missin'

My lip is f*cked, I bought it from Avalon less then a year ago. I contacted the company, they want pics of it before and after. Did anybody else had to go through that, what was your experience?

There was a little crach right in the middle of it, and it was getting bigger. But a month ago, it was snowing pretty bad, so I was driving home and it was about 3 in. of snow on the road that night. I was almost home, when I heard like I hit a nasty pot hole. When I got home, a nice chunk of it was missing.

Did anybody did any custom work on their front lip, I was thinking of maybe cutting a piece out, so it looks straight.

So you want Avalon to replace the lip?

as much as i would want u to get a new lip for free, i dont think manufacturers are supposed to replace lips that were cracked or mishandled due to damage you may have done to the lip. Stillen is well known for being the best front lip because of the damage it can take but if u do harm to it, doesnt make sense for them to have to replace it for u for free...but i hope you do get a new one for free because buying a second lip sucks more than replacing an engine, its just supposed to last the life of the car , never did but i can feel your pain...

I cracked my Stillen lip a few weeks ago due to a pot hole. It was 3 hours after I had the kit installed...
Stillen refused to replace it because my Max is lowered and the lip cracked due to scraping/contact. They only replace it if it cracks for no reason (AKA Never!).

They also said that if it was to be covered under warranty (which it wasn't), I would have had to go through SW Autoworks for replacement since that's where I bought it originally.

Stillen did say they would give me a discount on buying a new lip but I was fed up with dealing with them and hung up...Alex at SW gave me a sick deal on a new lip since I've bought so much stuff from him

Luckily I have a hook up at my body shop, so they're spraying and installing the new lip for free...

Thanx for understanding bro, it does suck to f*ck it up especially since it wasn't my fault. Will see what happenz, I have to e-mail some pics to Avalon first, and go from there. Araffio, what kind of discount did Stillen offer you?

I spoke to a sales rep who wanted pics to prove I cracked the lip. He said once he got the pics he would call me with a price for a new lip.

I never sent pics, just went through Alex. Stillen never would have been able to match the price Alex gave me anyway...
