URGENT: Windows not closing!

I went to install the back speakers i got today. I rolled all the windows down to let some cool air in the car while iwork.. but now when i try to roll them back up.. they dont work.. same thing with power door locks.. all fudged up.. there were no signs of the windows failing in the past.

the most i changed recently was disconnecting the rear brake light inthe back window to get to the speakers and reset the ecu yesterday.

i need help desperately bc i need the windows to be CLOSED before i get jacked!!! please help

Fuse pannel might be a good place to start looking.

When installing the speakers, did you unplug the window switches?

This happened to me when I was installing the FRONT speakers. But seems like he was messing with the rears. Can't see how that would affect the switches , locks etc.

I think you may need all 4 switches for things to function properly (but don't quote me on that). Did you overload a circuit and blow a fuse or something? I know the window switches/power locks fuse is in the engine bay to the right of the battery. It's a 30A fuse (green on my car) on the bottom right hand side.

This problem can also occur if your driver's window switch is going bad, none of the windows will roll up/down and you wont be able to lock/unlock.

Sounds like CTRL-ALT-DEL. Reminds me of this old 24-channel mixer I use where very occassionally, there's no signal on one single channel. Power down, power up & it's back.

happened to me before. i soon realized it was the button right above all the switches for the windows on the driver side. it was pushed down so i couldn't open or close any of the windows except the driver's one. try it; the solution might be the simplest. well in my caes atleast.
