super white head lights
super white head lights
I currently have PIAA super white head lights. In the corner lights I have some generic super white zeon bulbs. I just did the mod to make my corner lights brighter, and I have to say it really makes a huge difference and only took 10 minutes, but now I am disapointed because the corner lights look really nice but they are about twice as bright as the PIAA's now, and a different color. The corners are a clear blueish tone (very nice!), whereas the PIAAs are lighter clear tone. Honestly I am very disapointed with this model of PIAA lights. They are not very bright at all and I have a hard time seeing with them even (except for the high beams are very bright, but I can't use those all the time anyway). Also during the day the color of the light is yellowish basically the same as stock. Yuck! For friggin 80$ these lights should be topnotch. I switched over from some cheap super whites (20$) I got off ebay, I am not sure of the name and I like the color of those lights a lot more then the PIAA's. the only reason I switched was because the ones off ebay burnt out way to quickly (5 months), and I read on here that the PIAA's last long and are VERY bright, and the closest thing to HID. Thats a bunch of BS. I am pretty sure if I had made the corner lights brighter when I had the old cheap super white bulbs, they would have matched perfectly with the head lights. Does anybody have any experience with a brand of these zeon bulbs that has a clear bluish color that is brighter then stock, and last longer?
Why don't you jump on the X50 GD we got? Don't think it has a bluish tint to them, but they seem really bright, and great price too. Maybe you can get other corner lights instead? They're cheaper to replace than the PIAA's...

Use a flathead with some cloth around it to gently pry the light out.
