JWT Pop Charger install problems

I just bought at used JWT Pop charger. It was shipped to my parents house and I had my mom take a few pic's and email them to me. It didn't come with the extra black metal mounting brace (although I don't know how vital this is). I'm more concerned about the fact that there are 4 holes in the metal ring at the large opening, but only two of these holes have screws/bolts in them. How am I going to attach this to the MAF??

Don't know about the screws, but try to get the bracket if you can. It prevents the filter from leaning up against the battery and start to chafe itself away . . . .

I bought it from Maxobesset on the org, so maybe he just forgot to ship the adapter...I'll ask him. Anyone know about the screws and installing the pop charger to the MAF?

the velocity stack is the adapter. all you're missing is 2 screws and the bracket.
either get the vendor to ship you the screws or get new ones at home depot. they'll be like 10 cents each.

as for the bracket, the vendor really should have sent it to you because it holds the filter up in the correct position, so that it doesn't touch or rub against anything else.

I'll take the 2 bolts to a hardware store and pick up 4 new ones (might as well replace the 2). As far as the bracket goes, I bought it from a guy used so if he can't send me it for some reason, is there anything I can do? Anyone have dimensions for me to get a piece of thin scrap metal and drill 2 holes or something? I'd need instructions on how to make my own bracket.

it's not necessarily black, mine wasn't. So yours came with two screws, you have a couple of options, just use the screws that already connect your air filter housing onto the maf, use two of those, and the two you got, it'll be fine, whatever, as long as there are four bolts holding it there. I just used the bolts that were already on my maf and theres no difference, all tight. that metal ring is the velocity stack. make sure when you're installing that the clamp around the filter is tight because you don't want the filter falling off.

Are you saying you didn't use the extra bracket then?

i did, i posted before, on how to do it. you can do one of two things regarding the bracket. if you're lazy, you can leave the bottom half of the air filter housing and just sit it on top of that, and if u want, u can squeeze it in a little, which was what i initially done because it started to rain and i did it outside. You can put the bracket on. You need to use one of the screws that you take out when you remove the bottom portion of the air box. When you screw in one of the screws, pretty sure it's the left bottom screw when you look directly at the maf. put the screw on from the back, then the maf, bracket, and the the filter.

bracket measurement

could someone do me a big favor and measure the bracket they have? I just need to know how long it is, and then how large each of the end portions are (the place where it bends and the screw goes). I'd like to get a piece of metal and bend and drill two holes. thanks!
