quick help with putting new wheels on. need info/specs

I got my new Maxxim Pursuit wheels today and I'm putting them on the car. The lugs going on are smaller than the ones that came off the car. The ones that came off the car were 13/16th inch nuts and the ones going on are 19mm. Also, the ones that came with the wheels say "12mm1.5" on the side. They're very tight (tought to screw on) but they do go on. I took one off after putting it on and nothing was stripped, so i assume theyre ok.
I bought 4 locking lug nuts that are the same dimensions. Is it ok to leave the car on the ground, take one lug off each wheel, and put one of the locking lugs on? Or should i jack the car up to just remove 1 lug and replace? I'm using a torque wrech to get the lugs to about 85lb/ft torque, no more. I'll take them to a shop tomorrow to make sure theyre torqued to the right spec, and get the wheels-rebalanced (theyre slightly used). Any recommendations?
pics soon!
thanks!

Sounds like their tuner lugs, they have to be smaller to fit into the hole. 12x1.5 sounds like the wrong thread size. I believe the maxima's thread size is 12x1.25 And you say you got them on?
