I just recently registered to these forums and know very little about cars. I'm 18 and less than a month ago I bought my first car, a 1996 Nissan Maxima. Yesterday as I was driving it, the check engine light suddenly turned on. The car drives smoothly and I can't anything visibly wrong. If there is a common occurance of this light turning on and possible quick solutions to fix it I would be greatful. Thank you very much for your time.
