Well got in an accident (minor) yesterday at school. Me and another girl scraped cars with one another. It has 3 little dents in the front fender, 2 imbedded scratches on the front door, and a minor dent on the passenger door. I am getting all of these pulled out and fixed and about 7 door dings on the other side taken out. I bought my paint yesterday as well. QNO is my paint code, but I got the base white and I bought blue pearl to go in it. Im thinking about taking the door moldings off as well. Any feedback on that?

Didnt mean same color, just the fact that you have white/blue pearl in your color. I know they wont be the same. Just the fact of me using your pic thats all. My pearl blue alone was 100 bucks....

I know...by all means go for it. I'm not the originator of white/blue pearl so it doesn't matter to me.

Pearl is definitely not cheap. are you doing the work yourself or having a shop do it?

A hookup of mine is doing it. He did my front end conversion as well. Pulling those 6 dents and about 7 dings out and repainting whole car/body kit for $1000...

yeah man.. get rid of the moldings, but make sure the welds are smooth and don't leave a crease.

i think your car would look hot without them.. plus not too many people have it done.

white and blue pearl is nice.

Sounds like a cool idea...just stop parking next to people once you get it painted!

Make sure your hookup is solid. 1000 is cheap for a paintjob plus pulling dents. My boy got a hookup for 1300 to paint his Coupe GT and the **** was just a DISASTER. The guy ended up wanting more money, and since my boy didn't have it to give dude, he ended up getting a $HITTY paint job. Rocker panels went partially unpainted...body work was skimped on and paint bubbled on the hood...no good at all. I'm sure your hookup is better than his, but I figured I'd share the warning anyway.
