You pull the fuel pump fuse, it's labled on the plastic cover that goes over the fuses. the readings you get depend on your car, but should be above 142 and shouldn't vary by more than 14psi in any cylinder.

Thanks but I know its the fuel pump butI can read the labels any more on the box so I was wondering if someone could tell me which one it was. I cant seem to find a diagram any where, it looks like the last owner removed the stickers for some reason.

what happens if you do a compression test without pulling the fuse?

Okay, if your looking straight at the fuse panel, its on the row all the way to the right, there is 3 sections of fuses, its the bottom one of the middle, its a 15A fuse. Or, to make it easier, start from the bottom, and its the 4th fuse up, after the two empty sockets.

As far as not pulling the fuse, you have to pull the fuse or else your car will try and start, and thats not what you want when doing a compression test. As for how to do a compression test, either do a search, or buy a haynes/chiltons manual...
