Knock sensor woes
Knock sensor woes
Hopefully my knock sensor problems will be gone very shortly as I have splurged and ordered up a new one. These are tricky little guys as they can work intermediatly. I have been testing it with an ohmeter the last couple of days and get all different readings, yesterday when the car was cold i got a reading of 24m ohms then warmed up, open circuit. The week before my readings were all over the place open circuit, .5m ohms, 2m ohms.
Electrical problems always are the hardest and do the craziest stuff!

Mine was $112 from thepartsbin.com
Good site for cheap parts. I actually ordered it 2 day express so it actually cost just about the same as yours.
Good luck. I hope it works out for both of us. My car is slower than ****e.

Has anyone actually dynoed before and after replacing a KS? I wonder how much power it restores.
