Would I still have noticeable gains if I put on an Injen CAI before getting a Y-pipe? I want to get both eventually but I love the sound of a CAI so I want it ASAP. When I did get the Y-pipe, it would make a huge power difference with the CAI right?

Anyone out there that got the Injen before Y-pipe? I am anxious to hear the CAI sound.

 

I heard a Frankencar intake and Y-pipe.. I had to drive down to the Ottawa meet just to hear it.. and it sounded awsome.. I was about to go for the Injen intake but found that with the price for the injen I can get both from Budget Their CAI is almost the same as injen and cost half as much.. I actually just made my intake instead.. and maybe switch later.. but You will only hear her growl under WOT..

yup CAI was a bit of help, but the Y Pipe is the true king of hp increases for maximas (beside the MEVI)...

 

I have a Place Racing CAI. Personally i love it, you get lots of people staring at your car and its always fun to mess why some of those gay Honda/acura Rice burners. But Isnt a Injen behind the radiator, which in my opinion is not a cold air intake because its still in your engine bay and still is Fu**** hot in there. My friend got the one behind yoru radiator and personally its not as loud as my PR CAI but its still ok i guess.
