Help with Suspension / shocks?????????

I am trying to figure out if my shocks are out and what I need to replace them?

I think it is the shocks b/c the steering feels so loose. Is this the problem or what should I do?

Also if I need to replace my shocks/coils etc. what do I need?

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

if your shocks are blown you will know.. go to your car..pick the corner in which you think the shock is blown and push down hard on it( not so hard you bend your hood/fender) and let go.. if its blown it will bounce more than nornal before resting. u may also see fluid leaking from the shock and hear a swishy sound when u push on it. coils last a lifetime..its not your spring.

I got the suspension checked on my mom's car for free at Midas They'll check it and they'll tell you want you need and how much the total will be - they'll print out an estimate sheet for you.

http://www.midas.com/ssa1.html at the very bottom:
"Additionally, the technicians can provide free steering and suspension inspections."
