Quick/Easy Alignment Question
I just put new set of rims/tires on my Max. And since then my car wont stop vibrating, what do I need to do? is it because of new wheels? is this normal? or do you guys think they didn't balance it before company shipped it? Any ideas/thoughts would be great guys.
thanks,

No I don't think thats the problem. And balancing is not cheap man, so its pointless to tell people to do something if your not 100% sure it will fix their problem. A lot of people seem to run in to this problem and nobody can give a straight forward answer. Everyone gets there tires balanced, or else they already come shipped balanced so I don't think thats the solution. I think hubcentric rings may be the solution but I am not sure. I am about to get my rims and tires mounted, and I am sure I will have this same thing your talking about so I hope maybe theres someone that can enlighten us.

It's very common for new tires to require rebalancing after a few miles. Some new tires may rim creap which is when they move from their seated position on the rim. That immediately throws them off balance. Even old tires can rim creap, especially if the correct tire pressure isn't maintained.
Have a good shop balance your wheels and your vibrations will go away. Don't go to a chain store to have your wheels balanced. They usually don't have their equipment maintained as well as a wheel & tire specialty shop would.
Balancing machines also require balancing or calibration from time to time. If thats not done, the machine itself may not correctly balance your new set of wheels & tires. Fine a good wheel and tire shop, not Firestone, not Sears, you want a shop that only does wheel and tire work, no engine work. They will most likely have good equipment and be able to give you a nice smooth ride.

i tihnk you need to get the tires reblanced. cause i've heard alot of stories were people got there tires balanced wrong . get that donte 1st, and if that doesn't fix it, then go for realignment. see if that helps.

thanks guys... I just called Sears Auto Center and they quoted me $44 for all four balancing with life time warrenty(if I want to rebalance it it's free). Or $9 per each tires with 90days warrenty. I will see what happens and I will keep it updated.
