What lubricant for sunroof/doors?
I want to add some lubricant to my sunroof now that its getting nice out and I'll be using it a lot. Also thought I would put some on the doors and any other place that might need it.
Can I use white lithium grease in a spray can or should I use something else? Where is the best place to use the lub on the sunroof and doors? Any other important things to lube on the car while Im at it?
Thanks!

You want Lithium Grease. There are 2 types: Dry and Wet. The wet is heavier duty and is designed for metal on metal type friction. I believe the dry is used for the window guides, but is a lighter lubricant. Go to Pep Boys and/or do some research.

I've only ever seen white lithium grease, but my knowledge of lithium grease is fairly limited so I wouldn't doubt there may be other types If you have any dry lithium grease I would try that first because worst case scenario, you'll have to use something heavier. The wet lithium grease can make a mess if you're not careful

Yes, use the wet type or it won't survive the elements. It works best if you pull the antenna all the way out spray it down, and compress/uncompress the antenna a few times to lubricate it well. Then just wipe off the excess.
