Maxima almost stalling=(
Hi guys, this is my first post here, and im new to maximas(just got one 3 days ago) Its a 1999 maxima, deep metallic green, 38k miles, automatic.
While i was driving along today, i stopped at a light. It idled fine, felt smooth, then i push the gas, nothing happens, it just barely rolls forward for about 2 mabe 3 seconds, then it starts off. I think the RPM's are getting pretty low. But all of these problems were on the 1st tank of gas, so do you think they didnt put 91 octane in it and it caused this problem? Because i havent had it much, if at all, after i filled her up with some premium=). OR do you think something is bad with any other important part?

since you just got the car, i would do the following before i start pulling hairs:
change fluids (engine, tranny)
change/check spark plugs
clean the throttle body
change fuel and air filters
it should all run you about $100
though i can bet its a dirty throttle body enjoy the car
