I've just bought all I need for my 300ZX brake conversion but I will still be needing SS lines to complete my project. I've read that maxima lines will work but 300ZX lines will work "better" because of the differences in the fittings on the two. For those of you that have done the conversion please share what you did about brake lines whether oem maxima, oem 300Z, stainless braided maxima, stainless braided 300Z and any other pertinant info.
I installed the 300zx SS Brake Lines from Goodridge. The rears do not fit our car because our lines in the rear are much much longer than those of the 300ZX....
The stock Maxima lines will work, but like you stated, the non-banjo type fitting is designed to flow larger amounts of fluid at a given time over the stock banjo-type fitting...

So are you using 300ZX SS lines in front and maxima SS lines in back or using stock lines in back?Originally posted by Ramius83

I'm running the Goodridge stainless steel 300z lines..I only have the front conversion. The stock maxima lines will work on the front brakes, if you don't feel like switching
