Remove headlight cover?

How would I go about removing the plastic covering over my headlight. I noticed 2 copper looking clips above the light, do i just remove those and it comes out? I was driving on the highway behind a truck the other day and i felt a smack (debri from the truck tagged my car). i pulled off and noticed that i have a nice whole in my light. It still works but there is water getting inside the compartment which is making the light much dimmmer. I want to get inside to clean out the water and scotch tape the hole temporarily until i can find a oem replacement. PS if anyone is parting out a maxima and has the head light cover for a 96 maxima passenger side, contact me.
Thanks for your help.
Danny

Well, there are 2 clips on the top and 3 on the bottom. Just taking them off will not let you take the housing apart. After you take off the clips, you need to put the headlights into a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 10 minutes. After, take ti out and teh sealant should be hot enough to be able to separate the headlight, you have to do the same process to put them back together.
