Ok let me try and describe this as best i can.I am getting a strange noise when i go to start the car as i turn the key to the on position one click before start it makes a very loud humming type sound now i know the fuel pump makes a slight hum when it kicks on but this is much louder it doesn't happen all the time really not when i first start it in the morning but if i drive it and don't let the car reach operating temp then shut it off and wait 5 or 10 mins it's guarenteed to happen and very loud but it also happens at other times just not as much and will be not as loud.could my fuel pump be on it's last leg?If anyone has any ideas please help me out.Thanks

 

Try changing your feul filter. If that's clogged, it'll make your feul pump work harder.
