Need easier way to take out knock sensor

Need easier way to take out knock sensor

is there any easier way to get to unscrew the kncok sensor without getting your damn hand scratch up in that little space

You can do it the way Nissan says: Remove the upper and lower intake manifolds.

quit crying...it saves you 7 hours labor charge to get your hand in the little space...

the best way...get someone with small hands to fit them into there and do it for you. OR, put the socketwrench onto the bolt, and using a HUGE screwdriver (flathead), you can easily wedge the screwdriver in against a solid metal bracket that sits down there, and push against the handle, and it will break loose easily. thats how i did it.

I dont know about a Knock Sensor, but the LF O2 Sensor is a B1TCH too... I was having a hard time gettin it out because its such a small space and I have big hands.. I got a 4inch "Stubby" Ratchet and a Rotating Socket Extention and that helped me out a lot.. try that.
