Was just wondering...if I just wanted the lowered look..?

Hey guys if I just wanted to get the lowered look, all I have to do is buy lowering springs right? Is it necessary to get the struts too?
if I just get springs does it create any problems...?

good find - but, i've got a 3rd gen....they say tockico blue..."Tokico Blues are the non-adjustable OEM replacement shock closest to OEM. They don't provide much more damping than the original maxima shocks. They also have problems with blowing and leaking when combined with stiff aftermarket springs. "

so whats the point of buying those?

they will be fine. I know people who are running them and they dont have problems, they may just wear out slightly earlier than say...KYB AGXs...

I wanted the lowered look as well so I got some new drop zone springs that gave a 1.7-2 inch drop, and planned to keep my stock shocks for a little while. This was a very very bad idea. DO NOT JUST replace the springs. My car rides so bumpy now, and my rear shocks are already blown after only 2 weeks.

go with H&R's. i've heard many people complain about the maxpspeed not having enough of a drop and a VERY SLIGHT increase in handling. they're pretty soft, so i've heard.
