that is me.. i spoke with them again.. price went up put numeber of buyers went down.5 seems more reasonable to me. 20 plus buyers is hard work and near impossible i think for coilovers..not all maxima buyers want the stiff ride associated with coilovers. plus i wanna get these as soon as possible..haha.. jsut trying to get other org members a deal too in the process.

i might be interested though...but i hear it's very rough ride and many members have been complaining about it....so that hesitates me....

weapon r's quality isnt of the highest.. kind of like apc coilovers..

they basically serve the same function as ground control and will last just as long.

i know they are more or less a copy of ground controls.. when u say last as long..it didnt sound very positive. how long lasting are we talking? couple years. months? i dont plan f adjsuting them very often. what usually goes wrong.?

to be honest.. rememebr these are coil overs. expect a stiff ride and spending to the money to get adjustable shocks.. i dont want anyone gettin into the group buy and regreting it later.i honesly done think tokicos or gr2 will go well with coil overs.. spring rate is too high. it will work the shock too hard, it will blow fast and bouce alot.
so far i have
MR_Maxi
maxima8624
myself
MikeD95SE
and Morsky

all interested..ahha.hey thats 5.its perfect.. if your really intersted post any questions and inquires in the weapon r gen 2 thread in the GROUP DEAL forum.

I believe the WeaponR's go lower then the Ground Controls.. Below is a link to a member site that used to have WeaponR's.. I spoke to him a while back and he said it was very stiff.. I think he told me he didnt like it at first but he got used to it. As you can see they go very low. This car has 17" wheels if anyone is wondering. I know another member named PAWN used to have them and I remember reading that he liked them.. I believe that there is also some type of helper spring with the WeaponR's that can be removed to give even a lower drop, however, I dont think it is recommended. I could be wrong about the helper spring but I remember someone telling me that a while back. Hope this info helps.

Here's the link.

no matter how i drove with the koni yellows adjusted it was a crap ride, the spring rates aren't made for our cars. maybe they have better coil springs now, that would be something to look forward to. a 475 / 350 ratio would be good on the spring rates.

i had the coilovers on my car for 6 months and they lasted fine, it was just a pain to adjust them up and down if they get the slightest bit dirty.

im checking on the new springs rates.. these are suppose to be version 2.. i dont know what changes they made cause i never got a chance to look at the first one. when you said crap, what do u mean.. too stiff, bump, sway to much, bouncy?.
