KYB AGX. Need Help!
Will the stock dust boots work with the KYB AGX or do I have to buy the KYB dust boots? I don't wanna spend too much on them. Where is the cheapest place I can buy them. I don't care if they are some cheap OEM wannsbe as longs as they protect my struts. Thanks for the help.
I got mine for $346 shipped for all four. The seller ran a dutch auction forever on ebay for $328 + $18 shipping. His shop is called foreigncarparts online. I don't know if they are still on ebay or not with these, but I'd say will still give you a deal on the shocks. They also take credit cards.
Give them a call. 1-877-634-0063
Here's their ebay feedback, it's very good!

Here's the auction where I purchased mine.

These shocks CAN be used with the stock boots... but if yours are bad, you're ahead to buy new ones.
Good Luck!

The stock dust covers hang from the upper spring perch, they don't attach to the struts, they just hang over the piston.
So, yes they will work just fine. Make sure yours are in good condition before you pull the suspension apart. If they are cracked or torn open, it's time for new ones. The KYB dust covers I believe are cheaper then OEM. You can get them at a local shop such as AutoZone as well. Check the FAQ thread on top for the correct part numbers.

KYB dustboots are just repackaged TRW pieces. I purchased them from Advance auto parts. The fronts are for a 1995 mustang, the rears are for a 1995 miata.
The fronts are TRW part #14103
The rears are TRW part #14108
Advance lists these as front end bushings (front) and front end control arm bushings (rear). I have no idea why... but if you order those part numbers, you get the right parts. Cost was $14.89/each for the fronts, $14.99/each for the rears. They were ordered and came in the very next day.
These TRW part numbers are VERY similar to the part numbers listed by KYB... Another .org member noticed this and compared the two to find the parts were identical.
Good Luck!
