check engine light because of MAF sensor problem?????
aight i cleaned and oiled my air filter today. so i am driving away and i forgot to plug in the MAF sensor plug again. i had taken it out so it was easier to get to the bolts holding my filter on. well my car stalled out twice before i figured out what was wrong and now my check engine light is on. how the hell do i fix this? nothing is wrong with my car right? i only drove 100ft.

Reset the ECU. The first couple of times I checked my ECU, I did not take it out of its diagnostic mode. So I drove around with the check engine light on. Once I reset it properly there was no more CEL.

I'd use the "search" to find out what you are talking about but it wont work.
How do you reset?
