cracked stillen lip

I have a cracked stillen lip that I bought off a friend after he sold his car. I'm thinking I might try to repair and re-paint it myself. Anyone have any experience with this to give me some guidelines?

go to a autobody store/shop and ask for something called "bumper repair" expoxy or something like that, I got some in my garage ill check the name later. anyways its a 2 part mixture that when you mix together and put on the crack it will start to bond the crack together

i'm thinking of buying this lip off ebay: stillen lip. If I could repair it myself that would save a lot $$, so if anyone has any input on this, i'd be interested in knowing too.
