Strut question and diagnosis.
Strut question and diagnosis.
I'm hoping it is as simple as this, but I'd hate to waste money considering the great economy right now.
Whenever I go over a good sized bump, I tend to hear a thud in my front passenger side wheel area. I'm thinking it is as simple as a strut replacement. Though, I guess I'm not 100% sure. I plan (if it is a strut), to replace the wheel bearing while I'm at it (since it makes a humm humm humm noise at high speeds).
Could it be a control arm? Some sort of bushing? etc? I'm not too keen on suspension.
If I do need to replace the strut, will one from autozone suffice? I don't care about anything cool, just something that will be soft, and can handle high speeds. This maxima is my work car (ok so I have to go from job to job quick), I love the reliability as I've loved of my other nissan. It just keeps running for some reason.
