Custom Ashtray Switch Panel ***PICS***
I am pleased with how this came out. I've had the idea for quite some time, but couldn't do anything about it until I actually installed my strobes and wired up the switches.
When I install my interior neons, I'll add a switch right next to the momentary switch that's there.
Here are some pics of the project:

The 2 switches there are for the strobes (toggle for on/off, push button for pattern changes) and I'll be adding another toggle switch when I install my interior neons.
Nismo- the "mini-badge" is actually off of a Pathfinder's rear hatch (I think 2001, not sure). Cost was about $22 at the dealership IMO it's a great little addition to the center dash/console

I actually stumbled across the metal piece I used. If you remove the ashtray and look on the back of it, there is a curved metal plate back there. What I did was remove the metal plate, cut some edges and bent it to size so it fit the way it does.
Originally I was going to use some ABS plastic and design something, but I came across this and it worked perfectly.

You've obviously never seen Whelen strobes
...probably only those $15 sets that barely make a flash, now those are lame.
